ICEJ AUGUST 2017 PRAYER POINTS

Isaiah 62:8
The Lord has sworn by His right hand
And by the arm of His strength:
“Surely I will no longer give your grain
As food for your enemies;
And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine,
For which you have labored.

1. Pray for Israel
  • Please pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! Pray for calm and safety after the incidents on the Temple Mount.
  • Pray for the government of Israel, and particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he works to keep Israel and Jerusalem safe and prosperous.
  • Pray with us for Israel’s relations with many African nations, which have expressed a desire to reconnect and expand ties with Israel. Pray for the Lord to move on the hearts of African leaders to open new doors for Israel and especially to strengthen Christian support for Israel in those nations (Psalm 22:28)
Psalm 22:28 (NKJV)
28 For the kingdom is the Lord’s,
And He rules over the nations.
  • Pray for Israel’s security in the Golan Heights, an area that borders with war-torn Syria, that the threat posed by ISIS and other Islamist militias would continue to be held at bay (Psalm 94:22).
Psalm 94:22 (NKJV)
22 But the Lord has been my defense,
And my God the rock of my refuge.

 2. Pray for the Region

·         Pray that the Arab and Islamic nations would realize their need to cooperate more closely with Israel for their own good, and to accept Israel as an integral part of the region (Isaiah 19:23-25)

Isaiah 19:23-25 (NKJV)

23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, 25 whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”
  • Pray for the revival that is being reported throughout the Middle East, that multitudes living in darkness and despair would come to find hope and peace in Jesus Christ (Isaiah 49:6-9).

Isaiah 49:6-9 (NKJV)

·         Indeed He says,
‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
·         Thus says the Lord,
The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One,
To Him whom man despises,
To Him whom the nation abhors,
To the Servant of rulers:
“Kings shall see and arise,
Princes also shall worship,
Because of the Lord who is faithful,
The Holy One of Israel;
And He has chosen You.”
·         Thus says the Lord:
·         “In an acceptable time I have heard You,
And in the day of salvation I have helped You;
I will preserve You and give You
As a covenant to the people,
To restore the earth,
To cause them to inherit the desolate heritages;
That You may say to the prisoners, ‘Go forth,’

To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’
·         “They shall feed along the roads,
And their pastures shall be on all desolate heights.

3. Pray for the ICEJ
  • Please pray for the nations to come up to the ICEJ Feast of Tabernacles during 6-11 October, that they may see Jerusalem becoming a praise in the earth, and take the good news of God’s process of restoration back to their nations.
  • Pray according to Zechariah 14:16,
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.”
  • Pray for the thousands of Christians that come up to Jerusalem to catch the vision of the ICEJ from
  •  Isaiah 40:1-2,
“Comfort, yes, Comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem…”

Thank you for joining with us in prayer!
